Kennedy Vu is an accomplished business and risk management leader who is dedicated to advancing the mission of Heal & ReLeaf Family Counseling through strategic operations, organizational growth, and community impact. As Chief Business Officer, Kennedy oversees the organization’s administrative, financial, and operational functions. Every decision he makes supports the vision of empowering individuals and families to achieve transformation and balance through integrative trauma healing.
Kennedy has more than a decade of experience in both public and private sectors. He brings a combination of analytical insight, operational excellence, and compassionate leadership. His career includes senior leadership roles in risk management, safety, and compliance in higher education and K–12 school systems. In these roles, he built programs that supported organizational sustainability and the well-being of the communities served.
His expertise includes strategic planning, financial management, compliance oversight, and program development. He has managed multimillion-dollar budgets and implemented processes that improve efficiency. He has also led cross-functional teams to achieve measurable results. Kennedy holds a Master of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. He is also a Graduate Safety Professional (GSP), a Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM), and a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI).
