Today’s Gentle Reflection: You Matter, Too

Sometimes we become so focused on caring for the people we love that we quietly forget to include ourselves.

We check in on everyone else. We make sure they are okay. We encourage. We support.

We give. And somewhere along the way, our own heart quietly waits.

Reflection

Today, I gently invite you to remember something simple.

You matter, too.
Your heart matters.
Your needs matter.
Your well-being matters.
Your dreams matter.
Your rest matters.

Perhaps today, instead of asking,
"What else needs to get done?"
you might gently ask,
"What does my heart need today?"

Not tomorrow.
Not next week.
Just today.

Maybe the answer is rest.
Maybe it's laughter.
Maybe it's stepping outside for a few quiet moments.
Maybe it's asking for help.

Whatever your answer may be...
I hope you receive it with kindness.

Because you matter, too.

Thank you for taking this moment with yourself.
May you be gentle with yourself today.

A Moment to Consider

❦ When you are caring for others, how easily do you remember to check in with yourself?

❦ If you asked, “What does my heart need today?” what might come to mind?

❦ Is there one small way you could respond to that need with kindness today?

Carry This With You

You do not have to wait until everything else is taken care of before remembering that you matter, too.

Thank you for taking this moment with yourself.

May you be gentle with yourself today.
